1. Agreement

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website at garageguidex.com, operated by Bucks County Video Production, the publisher of Garage Guide X ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or reading the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

2. What the site is

This is an editorial publication of written guides about maintaining a car at home. It is provided free of charge and for general information only. We do not sell goods, we do not provide repair or diagnostic services, we do not operate a garage, and we do not act as your technical adviser. No professional or advisory relationship is created by your use of the site.

3. Informational nature of the content — please read

Nothing on this site is a service manual or a procedure for your specific vehicle. Your owner's manual and the manufacturer's service information take priority over anything published here. Some of the work described involves lifting a vehicle, hot components, pressurised systems, stored energy and hazardous fluids, and can cause serious injury if attempted carelessly or with unsuitable equipment. You decide whether a task is within your competence and you accept the consequences of that decision. Our Disclaimer sets this out in full and forms part of these terms.

4. Permitted use

You may read the site, print pages for your own personal, non-commercial reference, and link to any page on it. You may quote short extracts for review, comment, teaching or news reporting, provided you attribute the source and link back to the original page.

5. Restrictions

You agree not to:

republish, sell, rent, sub-licence or systematically reproduce any substantial part of the site;
scrape, harvest or copy the content in bulk by automated means, including for the purpose of training a machine-learning model, except where an applicable law expressly permits it;

Photographs are used under the licence granted by their source, which is recorded in the source of each page that uses them. Third-party names, marks and models mentioned for identification — vehicle manufacturers, tool types and parts standards — remain the property of their respective owners and their use here is descriptive, not an endorsement or a claim of affiliation.

7. Copyright notices

If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, send a notice to info@garageguidex.com identifying the work, identifying the material on our site, giving your contact details, and including a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised. We will review and act promptly on well-founded notices.

8. Links to other sites

Where we link to a third-party website, we do so because it appeared useful at the time. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability, security or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement and you follow it at your own risk.

These terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of that state have jurisdiction. Nothing in this clause removes any right you may have to bring a claim in your own place of residence where your local consumer law gives you that right.
